Grace Baptist Academy is a ministry of Grace Baptist Church. We are not simply a private school, but a Baptist Christian School. We use and teach only the King James Bible; and since we are a Baptist School; we teach the Baptist Doctrine. We are not charismatic in doctrine, nor non-denominational. We have firm convictions and high standards in order to please God.

The Christian school is an arm of the Christian home in the total education of the children. It is the extension of the home to afford parents the opportunity to teach their children the way God has commanded.
It is very important, and required, that school families attend a minimum of one church service on a regular weekly basis at Grace Baptist Church. No student will be accepted or permitted to stay in this Christian school whose family does not attend church at least once each week. 
We believe that God comes first, and that Christ should be the center of all that we do, including education.

Grace Baptist Academy uses Landmark Freedom Baptist curriculum. It is a combination of individualized/tutorial style learning, and traditional. The teacher will instruct the students traditionally and then they will work in their books independently. With LFB, we are able to reach every type of learning capability. Each child learns differently. Some learn better with the teacher instructing in front of the class, while others may be too easily distracted, and studying independently is better for them. We have combined both types of teaching and LFB is easily adaptable. Landmark Freedom Baptist Curriculum is truly Baptist. It teaches Baptist History and doesn’t leave out or ignore our Christian Heritage like most curriculums do. Therefore Baptist Bible doctrine will be taught to the students.

1. To provide a sound academic education integrated with a Christian view of God and the world. 
2. To teach that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and Lord of all. (Phil 2:9-10) (Luke 3:21-22)
3. To teach the necessity of being born again by receiving, the gift of salvation by grace, through faith. (Eph. 2:8-9) (John 3:3)
4. To encourage Bible reading, prayer, and Christian service.
5. To teach the application of Biblical principles to every part of life.
6. To stress the urgency of personal soul winning and world missions. (Luke 24:47) (Mark 14:15)
7. To build character.
8. To develop citizenship.
9. To teach patriotism.
10. To achieve discipline.
11. To maintain high academic standards.
12. To teach and maintain high moral standards.
13. To teach respect for parents and authority.

1. Both parents and applicant(s) attend one church service and request interview.

2. Both parents and applicant(s) read handbook and attend interview with principal (bring latest report card). 
3. Fill out all paperwork given by the principal, return it to the office with the birth certificate, Florida physical and shot records (updated within the year), and pay fees.
4. Child is scheduled for and takes the Wide Range Achievement Test (WRAT) to determine academic placement.
5. Both parents attend an annual “Orientation Night” with enrolled child/children.
